As of 23 July 2010 ASDEMO activists payed a visit to 'Lesnaya Skazka' children's summer health resort.

Activists organized a range of activities for children, to include their proposal of prizes that children happily competed for by answering quiz questions. The prizes themselves included books on environmental issues. Alongside the quiz, children were familiarized with most pressing environmental problems, such as soil contamination and damping of hazardous substances in natural water bodies. Activists demostrated to children the principles of work with a water quality control laboratory that they had brought with them. Children were very interested and asked many questions. As a result, they assured ASDEMO activists that 'no more would they drink water from uncertain sources.'

In addition, children were informed on 'Green consumption' rules and were presented with banners and instruction booklets containing commonly used codes to be found on products wrapping. Children actively discussed practices of separate waste disposal, collection and subsequent processing of recycables as well as drinking water quality in Gomel.
