ASDEMO (stands for Association of children and youth) is a regional non-profit non-governmental organization. We address a range of environmental and social issues. Active in Gomel Region in the south of Belarus, ASDEMO has its main organization located in Gomel and its branches in such district centers as Rechitsa, Mozyr, Turov, Zhlobin, Rogachev and Buda-Koshelyovo.
ASDEMO supports democratic values and principles of active participation in various prominent aspects of social life. We want to empower our young volunteers and enrich them with experience and facilities to implement their new ideas.

1. For many years we have been able to run our programs relying on our own resources as well as on assistance from our partners and sponsors;
2. We disseminate environmental information, build up environmental knowledge and organize actions for protecting the environment;
3. We assist groups and individuals engaged in music, fine arts, performing arts and sports;
4. We organize conferences and seminars on different topics;
5. We teach people how to minimize the impact of contamination after Chernobyl by reducing the amount of polluted products they consume
6. We organize summer camps for children and young people both in Belarus and abroad;
7. We do our best to help our school children and students who want to communicate and cooperate with their peers from other countries;
